Level 3 Workshop

    All you need is a computer with a webcam and a stable internet connection

  • £75 (includes tuition and participant’s manual as sent by post) - full payment required on booking (discount may be available)

Who is this Recommended for?

- This workshop is aimed at those who have completed Levels 1 and 2 and are seeking to improve and develop their signing and symbol skills, and their effective use in everyday experiences
- An adequate level of English language literacy is desirable to understand the teaching.

What will I Learn?
- Revision of Levels 1 and 2 signs and symbols
- How to interpret and translate signs and symbols to convey information
- How to analyse signs
- The signs and symbols for Stages 5 and 6 of the Core Vocabulary

What will I Receive?

- Manual (includes the signs and symbols learnt)
- Certificate of attendance

- Participants should be able to attend all sessions
- Numbers are limited to 11 participants.
- Places are secured on receipt of both booking form and full payment

Who is this Recommended for?

- This workshop provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme for anyone wanting to learn Makaton (18+)
- An adequate level of English language literacy is desirable to understand the teaching.

What will I Learn?
- Background information about Makaton
- Hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use
- How to start using Makaton in everyday situations at home or work
- The signs and symbols for Stages 1-4 and additional Stage of the Core Vocabulary

What will I Receive?

- Manual (includes the signs and symbols learnt)
- Certificate of attendance

- This workshop provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme for anyone wanting to learn Makaton (18+)
- An adequate level of English language literacy is desirable to understand the teaching.

What will I Learn?
- Background information about Makaton

What will I Receive?

- Digital Learning Kit (manual) for each level which include the symbols and embedded videos of signs that you have learned. If preferred, manuals are available in paper form, but should be requested at time of booking. An additional cost will be required for paper manuals.
- A certificate of attendance will be issued on behalf of The Makaton Charity
